Be dependable

We collect only the personal data reasonably required to:

• respond to enquiries and manage customer, supplier and business relationships;
• verify identities, authorised representatives and beneficial owners;
• complete transactions and provide services;
• meet AML, sanctions, customs, tax and responsible-sourcing obligations;
• protect our people, systems, premises and supply chains; and
• review complaints, integrity concerns or suspected misconduct.

This may include identification and contact details, company and ownership information, transaction and payment records, compliance information, correspondence and limited website technical data.

Some information is required by law or necessary to establish or perform a business relationship. Where it is not provided, MetCon EU may be unable to onboard a party or complete a transaction.

We obtain personal data directly from you and, where appropriate, from your employer, authorised representatives, public registers, financial institutions, compliance providers and other lawful sources.

We share information only where necessary with approved service providers, banks, logistics and processing partners, professional advisers, MetCon EU group entities and competent authorities.

Personal data may be processed outside Switzerland. Where this occurs, MetCon EU uses legally recognised protections, such as transfers to countries with adequate data-protection laws or approved contractual safeguards. The final published notice must identify the relevant destination countries and safeguards.

We use appropriate technical and organisational safeguards to protect personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access or disclosure.

Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose and to meet legal, regulatory, contractual and record-keeping requirements. It is securely deleted or anonymised when no longer required.
